Rome, the eternal city, is virtually frozen in limbo due to maintenance work in preparation for the 2025 jubilee between the magnificence of its monuments and the need to preserve them, but also between the chaos of modern traffic and omnipresent scaffolding.
This mini photographic series aims to provoke a reflection on the price of conservation and inevitable modernization. Rome, in its "eternal" nature, is also eternally subject to change and restoration. The project not only explores the visual impact of the city under siege by construction sites, but also seeks to tell the frustration, the hidden beauty and the transition of a metropolis suspended between past and future.

Roma, la città eterna, a causa dei lavori di manutenzione in vista del giubileo del 2025 è praticamente congelata in un limbo tra la magnificenza dei suoi monumenti e la necessità di preservarli, ma anche tra il caos del traffico moderno e le impalcature onnipresenti.
Questa mini serie fotografica mira a suscitare una riflessione sul prezzo della conservazione e dell'inevitabile modernizzazione. Roma, nel suo essere "eterna", è anche eternamente soggetta a cambiamenti e restauri. Il progetto non solo esplora l'impatto visivo della città sotto assedio dai cantieri, ma cerca anche di raccontare la frustrazione, la bellezza nascosta e la transizione di una metropoli sospesa tra passato e futuro.
